    Text-to-Speech

I have been using Text-to-Speech applications to help my students with pronunciation. SitePal was the first one I used. However, I have found some other tools for the same purpose.

    bluegrind

BlueGrind is one of them. What I like about it is that it has no restriction for the length of the text to be converted to speech. You get a link to your recording and text, and you can also download the  MP3 file to your computer or MP3 player.

The downside is that we cannot select the gender and accent (American - British) of the speaker.
